Cookware is predominantly a traditional industry. With major brands sell their product based on heritage and/or brand reputation. Purchase decisions in the past were mostly made based on brand recognition or price.

Cookware made from sustainable materials that are free of glues, polymers, coatings, or dyes is in demand now more than ever. Consumers are seeking products that are sustainable while also having an aesthetic appeal.
The mere fact that several million pieces of cookware are produced and disposed of each year demands attention. Plus: Every use of cookware consumes energy and, by performance failure, sometimes food waste too.

When the ceramic coating is damaged or worn off, it will be removed with sandblasting and a new coating applied.
