Manufacturing Process

Post-consumer waste shipped from the Netherlands to Pakistan.

100% cotton bed linens and towels.

01 PCW Receiving

Sorting includes separating the PCW based on existing physical appearances and quality and removing, and cutting the rough and raw edges.

Shredding ensures better mixing with the cotton and better performance in the spinning process.

02 Sorting & Shredding

Shredded materials are mixed with CMiA cotton. Cotton bales and PCW are marked and documented to ensure full traceability.

03 Mixing

Spinning is done in the ring frame. Ring spinning is a spindle-based method of spinning fibres.

04 Spinning

Ball warping is the process in which warping is performed in rope form.

05 Ball warping

Rope dyeing is considered one of the best methods for dyeing denim.

06 Rope dyeing

The process involves taking the coil of rope-dyed yarns and separating and winding them onto section beams for further processing.

07 Re-beaming

Sizing is the process of giving a protective coating on the warp yarn to minimize yarn breakage during weaving.

08 Sizing

Weaving is a method of textile production in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads are interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth.

The finishing processes involve Singeing, Mercerizing, Stenter, and Sanforising.
