Sustainable Future - Stainless Steel Cookware
Our stainless steel cookware is designed with sustainability in mind, utilizing recycled and eco-friendly materials. We primarily use high-quality 304 and 430 stainless steel, along with bonded ply materials like 3-ply and 5-ply, which combine stainless steel, aluminum, and sometimes copper for superior performance.
While single materials are easier to recycle, facilities exist that utilize mechanical separation and heat treatment for mixed materials. Although PTFE-coated fry pans pose recycling challenges, they can be efficiently recoated, extending their lifespan significantly. Additionally, our cookware can be later coated with other materials, ensuring that, when used and maintained properly, it can serve you for years to come. What is Guanhua? - SHANGHAI GUANHUA STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCTS CO., LTD is an enterprise specializing in OEM/ODM production for high end cookware. We provide OEM/ODM services for stainless steel cookware, such as frying pans, woks, casseroles, saucepans, oval roasters, pressure cookers and other stainless steel cookware products.
Our company began manufacturing cookware products in 1978. We became Shanghai Guanhua in September of 2000. Our factory occupies an area of more than 100,000 square meters. The facility is located in the ChongMing District of Shanghai, providing convenience in all aspects of business.
What makes Guanhua unique? - Guanhua distinguishes itself through its commitment to sustainability, highlighted by our Wind Energy Project confirmed in FY22. Located in Chongming Island, our factory benefits from unique natural conditions ideal for renewable energy. We are installing turbines with a planned capacity of 12 MW, aiming to generate 35 million kWh annually with an estimated investment of 80 million CNY.
We are improving energy efficiency to reduce consumption by 5% and transitioning to electric forklifts to cut carbon emissions. By FY25, we will integrate wind energy into mass production and increase recycled material usage to 30%, all while replacing non-plastic packaging with paper.


Wind Energy Project
In FY22, Guanhua confirmed its commitment to sustainability with the introduction of a wind energy project, strategically located in Chongming Island, which offers unique natural conditions ideal for renewable energy generation. The project involves the installation of turbines at locations No. 14, 15, and 16, with a planned capacity of 12 MW, expected to produce an annual output of 35 million kWh. The estimated investment for this initiative is 80 million CNY, reflecting Guanhua's dedication to becoming a green factory and reducing its environmental impact through sustainable energy solutions.


Solar Energy Project
Guanhua is dedicated to sustainable development, exemplified by its solar photovoltaic (PV) projects aimed at harnessing renewable energy. The first phase of the solar PV initiative was launched in October 2017, featuring a total capacity of 300 kW and covering an area of 1,800 square meters.
This project has made a significant impact by reducing carbon emissions by 190,000 kg annually, showcasing Guanhua's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Building on the success of the initial phase, the second and third phases of the solar PV project were connected to the grid in 2019. These expansions boast a combined capacity of 5,500 kW and occupy 33,000 square meters.
Together, they generate approximately 5.5 million kWh of electricity each year, leading to a remarkable reduction in carbon emissions by 3.45 million kg annually.
Through these solar energy initiatives, Guanhua not only advances its commitment to renewable energy but also contributes to global efforts to combat climate change. The projects reflect a strategic vision for a greener future, aligning with the company's broader sustainability goals while providing clean energy to support its operations.

Factory Tour - Manufacturing Power
Guanhua boasts impressive manufacturing capabilities across several key processes.
In the blanking section, the company operates five automatic blanking machines, achieving remarkable daily output. For stretching, we has multiple lines with over 100 stretchers to enhance capacity. The impact bonding department features two high-capacity 2500-ton machines and ten 1600-ton machines, ensuring exceptional bonding performance. In polishing, we employs several fully automatic and semi-automatic lines imported from Italy for high-quality finishes. In the coating process, we operates three lines for PTFE and ceramic paint, recognized for having the best Teflon coating line for several consecutive years. The company partners with leading brands like Chemours-Teflon and ILAG.
Finally, Guanhua assembles cookware bodies and accessories, achieving an impressive annual production of up to 10 million pieces.


Factory Tour - Manufacturing Power
Guanhua utilizes 15 laser marking machines to efficiently mark logos on kitchenware products. The fully automatic ultrasonic cleaning line ensures that finished products are thoroughly cleaned before delivery, removing any manufacturing residues. During the packaging process, products are labeled using a semi-automatic line. Before storage, a stringent inspection is carried out by QC inspectors, who sample batches to verify key dimensions, appearance, polishing quality, corrosion resistance, and other essential performance metrics.
Guanhua's standardized warehouse maintains constant temperature and humidity, adhering to strict fire protection standards. Managed by specific personnel, the warehouse ensures that products are stored separately and marked clearly. Each item is meticulously checked and recorded by the warehouse manager before being organizedin designated.


Factory Tour - Design Capacity & Molds Manufacture
Guanhua features a professional design team capable of creating custom products tailored to customer needs. Our designers are proficient in advanced design software, including Pro-E, Solidworks, UG, AutoCAD, and Rhino. To enhance our customization services, we have partnered with a third-party design company.
We provide custom stainless steel cookware for prominent suppliers and have collaborated on product designs for brands such as WMF, Silit, Berndes, FAGOR, Roesle, KUHN RIKON, NAKAYAMAFUKU, and Buffalo.
In terms of mold manufacture, Guanhua employs CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, wire cutting machines, and other advanced CNC equipment to create high-quality molds that bolster our manufacturing capabilities. Each production line is supported by dedicated mold design and maintenance teams, ensuring timely adjustments and problem resolution.
Moreover, Guanhua maintains meticulous management of mold storage and maintenance. Molds of the same type are organized in designated areas and recorded according to drawing specifications. With over 2,000 molds in use, the typical development time for a new mold is approximately one and a half months, based on our extensive experience.
